"O you who believe! Fear Allah and give up what remains of ribā, if you are truly believers. And if you do not, then be informed of a war from Allah and His Messenger..."

"Allah destroys ribā and gives increase for charity."

"Allah has cursed the one who consumes ribā, the one who gives it, the one who writes it down, and the two who witness it." He said: "They are all the same."

"A dirham of ribā that a person consumes knowingly is worse than committing zina thirty-six times."

"O you who believe! Fulfill all contracts and covenants."

"O you who believe! When you contract a debt for a specified term, write it down. And let a scribe write between you in justice..."

"Reconciliation is permissible among Muslims, except for reconciliation that makes a lawful thing unlawful or an unlawful thing lawful. And Muslims must abide by their conditions and agreements."

"The two parties to a transaction have the choice until they part. If both are truthful and clarify everything, their transaction will be blessed. But if they conceal and tell lies, the blessing of their transaction will be wiped out."

"And establish prayer and give zakah, and whatever good you put forward for yourselves – you will find it with Allah. Indeed, Allah of what you do, is Seeing."

"Take from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase, and invoke [Allah's blessings] upon them. Indeed, your invocations are reassurance for them. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing."

"Zakat expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect [zakat] and for bringing hearts together [for Islam] and for freeing captives [or slaves] and for those in debt and for the cause of Allah and for the [stranded] traveler - an obligation [imposed] by Allah. And Allah is Knowing and Wise."

"Islam has been built upon five [pillars]: testifying that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establishing the prayer, paying the zakat, making the pilgrimage to the House, and fasting in Ramadan."

"Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another except that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises his status."

"Whoever is given wealth by Allah and does not pay its zakat, his wealth will be made into a bald poisonous snake with two black spots over its eyes on the Day of Resurrection. It will encircle his neck, bite him on both cheeks, and say: 'I am your wealth, I am your treasure.'"

"O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful from what You have made unlawful, and enrich me by Your bounty from all besides You."

"O Allah, I ask You for pure provision, beneficial knowledge, and accepted deeds."

"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from grief and sadness, from weakness and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, from being overcome by debt and overpowered by men."

"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief, poverty, and the punishment of the grave."

"O Allah, make it a gain [in reward and blessings] and do not make it a loss [or a burden]."

"Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed, You are the Hearing, the Knowing."

"O Allah, send blessings upon them and bless them in their wealth."
